[Study on the chemical constituents from Fructus Toosendan]

Abstract

Objective: To study the chemical constituents from Fructus Toosendan.

Methods: Column chromatographic techniques were used for isolation and purification of chemical constituents of the plant and the structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis.

Results: Seven compounds were obtained and identified extract form Fructus Toosendan, and their structures were elucidated as ferulic acid (1), vanillic acid (2), caffeic acid (3), protocatechuic acid (4), kaempferol (5), daidzein (6), clematine (7).

Conclusion: Compounds 3-7 are isolated from the genus and compound 2 is obtained from this plant for the first time.
