Abstract

Although a huge number of papers have been published on echocardiography in heart failure, there is no expert consensus on how the ultrasound evaluation can really improve the management of heart failure patients. The only way to reach this goal is to have echocardiographers knowing which echo information are relevant for the clinicians who treat heart failure patients and to have clinicians becoming familiar with the interpretation of the echocardiographic examination.
