Abstract
Novel Fe(3)O(4)@YPO(4):Re (Re = Tb, Eu) magnetic-fluorescent hybrid spheres are prepared and present a sustained release behavior for the anticancer drug doxorubicin (DOX) and successful labeling of human cervical carcinoma Hela cells, suggesting promising potential as multifunctional biosensors for biomedical applications.
