[First twelve cases of laparoscopic transperitonealis radical nephrectomy]

Abstract

Aim: To introduce our experience, opportunities, complications and conclusions with our colegues about first twelve cases of laparoscopic transperitonealis radical nephrectomy.

Material and methods: For the period from 16.04.08 to 16.09.08 we made twelve laparoscopic transperitoneal radical nephrectomies. Seven males and five females age 48 to 81 have been operated.

Results: In two of these cases we made revision for bleeding. The other cases were without complications.

Conclusion: The laparoscopic transperitoneal radical nephrectomy is the most perfect technic for the moment--because of the low bleeding and short postoperative period in the hospital it is a good method of choice.
