Objective: To establish the standard for quality control of Fructus Hordei germinatus, Fructus Oryzae germinatus and Fructus Setariae germinatus.
Methods: The digital microscope and infrared spectroscopy were used in the pharmacognostical study.
Results: Distinguished differences were found on morphological and microscopical features of these three crude drugs. Whereas, their infrared spectrums were basically all the same.
Conclusion: The study provides a convenient, effect method for the identification of these three medicinal materials.
