Objective: To study the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of transverse testicular ectopia (TTE).
Methods: A case of TTE was treated with orchidopexy.
Results: Six months after the operation, both of the two testes were in proper positions with normal vascular supply.
Conclusion: TTE is a rare congenital abnormality of the male reproductive system with unknown etiology, and surgical correction remains the best option for treatment.
