Abstract

Botulinum toxin injections are first-line treatment for facial lines in the upper part of the face. The relatively easy injection techniques at the forehead, the glabellar region, and the periocular region make this treatment advantageous. This treatment requires good knowledge of the functional anatomy of the face and of the product used. After semeiologic analysis of facial aging, it provides results that respect the natural contours of the face, allowing one to adapt the treatment to each patient's wishes.
