Abstract

Objective: To study the optimum extraction technology of total flavonoids from Flower of Eriobotrya japonica.

Methods: To screen the best extraction technology by single-factor and orthogonal experiment according to the content of total flavonoids.

Results: The optimum conditions were as follows: we extracted three times at 60 degrees C, each time for 1 h and the ratio of raw materials and solution was 1:10.

Conclusions: The extracting method is fit for the extraction of total flavonoids from Flower of Eriobotrya japonica. It can also provide a scientific basis for manufacture.
