Synthesis of allylsilanes and dienylsilanes by a one-pot catalytic C-H borylation--Suzuki-Miyaura coupling sequence

Org Lett. 2008 Jul 17;10(14):3129-31. doi: 10.1021/ol801203u. Epub 2008 Jun 19.

Abstract

Allylsilane and various vinyl substrates undergo selective C-H bond functionalization based boronation reactions using iridium catalysis. The products were further reacted with aryl and vinyl halogenides in a one-pot sequence. This method is suitable for regio- and stereoselective synthesis of various allylsilanes and dienylsilanes.
