Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS) is a rare tumor, derived from antigen-presenting cells that normally form meshworks in lymphoid follicles. FDCS in general recapitulate the immunophenotypic profile of follicular dendritic cells (FDCs). This tumor affects mainly the lymph nodes, but may arise at a variety of extranodal sites in about one third of cases. We present a case of FDCS in a 52-year-old woman with left neck mass. Histologically, the tumor was composed of oval-to-spindle cells arranged in a fascicular and storiform pattern.
