Functional anatomy of the shoulder: first reliefs with polyarticular goniometer

J Sports Med Phys Fitness. 1991 Dec;31(4):632-8.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explain the basic principles of functional anatomy of the shoulder, and to give further data on the maximum mobility of the upper limb. The measurement of the articular movements was performed using a new model of polyarticular goniometer. The discussion of these results gives way to further possibilities of research, which are useful for the functional evaluation of the athlete in sports medicine.
