Objective: To establish fingerprint database of drug-resistant strain of Acinetobacter baumannii with AFLP genotype.
Methods: Twenty-seven strains of A. baumannii were clinically isolated. The microbial sensitivity to 13 antibiotics was analyzed according to NCCLS 2004. The genotype was analyzed by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) method.
Results: The results were consistent with those with AFLP database.
Conclusion: The database of AFLP fingerprint may have practical value for identification of drug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii.
