3alpha,4alpha-Epoxy-2-piperidone, a new minor derivative from leaves of Piper crassinervium Kunth (Piperaceae)

Nat Prod Res. 2007 Aug;21(10):910-4. doi: 10.1080/14786410601130711.

Abstract

A new antifungal piperidone derivative 3alpha,4alpha-epoxy-2-piperidone, whose structure was determined by spectroscopic methods, was isolated from the MeOH extract from leaves of Piper crassinervium. This is the first occurrence of one amide in P. crassinervium.
