Objective: To investigate psychological state of patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and the effect of comprehensive therapy on it.
Method: Eighty-five patients were assessed with SCL-90, SAS and HRSD on different time. Statistical treatment was performed with T test.
Result: The subscores of somatization, anxiety, depression, psychoticism of SCL-90 in OSAHS were higher than average scores in China. The SCL-90, SAS, HRSD scores of anxiety and depression decreased by turns on the first week and third month after treatments.
Conclusion: Patients with OSAHS are more anxious and depressive than normal. Comprehensive nursing care conduce to physically and mental rehabilitation of OSAHS.
