Approach for insertion of aortic composite valve grafts

Ann Thorac Surg. 1992 Aug;54(2):376-8. doi: 10.1016/0003-4975(92)91409-3.

Abstract

The usual methods for the reattachment of the coronary ostia to the ascending aortic conduit have several disadvantages and potential complications. A novel, straight-forward technique is described that allows for tension-free anastomoses to be constructed with minimal risk of blood loss and a reduced risk of reoperation for false aneurysms at the anastomoses.
