The objectives of this study were to explore the need for an information system of patient's medication record in pharmacies, where pharmacists could find all information about patient's condition, diseases and used medicines; to find out internet and information technologies usage in pharmacies.
Methods: In order to evaluate the demand for a specialized information system the method of a questionnaire-based survey was used.
Results: Obtained answers indicated that an information system could be useful in pharmacies and information technologies would facilitate information exchange among different institutions directly responsible for the treatment of patients.
