Healthcare Commission calls for help as complaints flood in

Health Serv J. 2005 Feb 3;115(5941):5.

Abstract

The NHS's new complaints system is buckling under massive pressure. The Healthcare Commission is facing a backlog of more than 3,700 grievances and a private company will be brought in next week to help clear the build-up. The commission expects to receive 9,000 complaints by the end of its first year--almost double the number anticipated.
