Positive and differential diagnosis in a case of mucinous ovarian cystadenocarcinofibroma

Rom J Morphol Embryol. 1998 Jan-Dec;44(1-4):187-9.

Abstract

We present the case of a 50-year old patient with left tumoral pelviabdominal formation of the size of a foetus head. The histological study performed on sections from different areas of the tumour enabled the establishment of the diagnosis of mucinous cystadenocarcinofibroma of enteroid type with undifferentiated mucipar areas with ring in seal. The contralateral ovary was unaffected.
