Diagnosis problems in a case of carcinoma with clear cells at the uterine cervix level

Rom J Morphol Embryol. 1998 Jan-Dec;44(1-4):73-8.

Abstract

We present the case of a patient of 50 years old who developed a tumoral formation at the level of the uterine cervix. The histopathologic examination beside the clinic examination constituted an important element in diagnosis elaboration. The histopathologic study performed on serial sections from the tumoral fragment of the cervix allowed establishment of the positive diagnosis through the exclusion of some lesions with microscopic relatively similar images but which have a complete different prognosis and therapy.
