Abstract

In the structure of conceptually single clinical approach the methodology was pathogenetically substantiated and principles were developed of individualized combined pharmacotherapy of patients with non-articulation diseases of temporomandibular joint. The treatment of such patients should be comprehensive, staged, individualized and directed to the disease substrate, its etiological factors and pathogenetic mechanisms with proper consideration of the organ lesion extent, of the previous treatment, of the presence of background diseases and personal patient's peculiarities. The principles of combined pharmacotherapy suggest individualization of treatment process that begins in acute cases with monotherapy of main syndrome with transition into combined therapy later on.
