[Complementarity and Gestalt circle--Viktor von Weizsäcker and the importance of a general theory of illness]

Psychother Psychosom Med Psychol. 1992 May;42(5):167-74.
[Article in German]

Abstract

Two developments have led to the elaboration of a complementarity theory in modern natural science--the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics and Viktor von Weizsäckers introduction of the subject into biology. The revolutionary implications of these developments are discernible in modern literature. The author seeks to show that a paradigm shift in positivistic clinical medicine is necessitated by the history and theory of science.
