Clear cell sarcoma (malignant melanoma of soft parts): fine-needle aspiration cytology of a highly pigmented tumor

Diagn Cytopathol. 2003 Jun;28(6):313-5. doi: 10.1002/dc.10287.

Abstract

Diagnosis of clear cell sarcoma by fine-needle aspiration is difficult, as melanin is usually absent. Here we describe a case of a primary clear cell carcinoma with abundant melanin, making diagnosis definitive.
