[Lung tuberculosis patient treatment tactics in the early postoperative period]

Abstract

The purpose of the work is to share the experience gained during the many years of surgical patient early postoperative period treatment. During the years 1994-2001 there were 1036 operations performed because of various lung tuberculosis forms. Based on the analysis of the results of treatment of these patients we came to a conclusion that there is a need for a long-term treatment with special antituberculosis drugs before the surgery, in the operative period there is a need to correct volemia, anemia, to choose adequate anesthesia method, and in the postoperative period it is needed to perform a good analgesia, as soon as possible to activate and to remove drain from the pleura cavity.
