Abstract

This communication briefly summarizes the molecular characteristics, expression, electrophysiological and pharmacological properties of voltage-gated sodium channels in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons, and the effects of voltage-gated sodium channels on regulation of nociceptive afferents.
