Oral cyclosporine in patients with active severe ulcerative colitis not responding to steroids

Abstract

Oral cyclosporine has been reported to be useful in inducing remission in patients with active severe ulcerative colitis who fail to respond to intensive steroid therapy. We present our experience of its use in six patients.
