PIP: A review of demographic trends in Luxembourg in 1983 is presented. The most significant trend was a decline in the number of marriages to the lowest level since World War II. Topics covered include fertility, nuptiality and divorce, mortality, natural increase, migration, and adoptions. Selected vital statistics for the first six months of 1984 are also presented.
