Towards demythologizing epilepsy. An appraisal of public attitudes

Med J Aust. 1975 Oct 25;2(17):663-6.

Abstract

A questionnaire was administered to a representative sample of Sydney adults to assess the public's general impression of epileptics as people and their performance and reliability in a variety of social situations. It would appear that a number of attitudes are prevalent which may impede the social rehabilitation of these patients.
