The results of laser scalpel use in 226 patients with hepatic echinococcosis are analyzed. Laser beam produces coagulation of the small vessels and intrahepatic bile ducts, destroys alive protoscolexes, suppresses microphlora. It ensures easier postoperative period, reduces postoperative complications rate 4 times, hospital stay 2 times.
