J S C Med Assoc. 2000 Sep;96(9):378-81.

Abstract

Seizures are very common in children and adolescents. Physicians dealing with young seizure patients should develop a well-organized and step-wise approach to the diagnosis, bearing in mind that other paroxysmal disorders can closely mimic epileptic seizures.
