Continuous medical education (CME) with credit is the challenge we are facing in Latinamerica. The appearance of new information and communication technologies bring to us important tools to carry out this teaching/learning process that targets the healthcare team. The distances that separate many professionals from centers of academic training exhort us to join efforts to take knowledge updates to far-reaching areas through postgraduate institutions.
