2,2',2''-Terpyridine-catalyzed synthesis of cyclic carbonates from epoxides and carbon dioxide under solvent-free conditions

Abstract

An efficient coupling reaction of epoxides with CO2 affording cyclic carbonates with the use of 2,2',2''-terpyridine as catalyst under solvent-free conditions has been developed.
