Hemophilus influenzae infections: a brief review

Abstract

Invasive disease due to Hemophilus influenzae constitutes a major pediatric problem. The present article summarizes current concepts regarding epidemiologic, diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic aspects of Hemophilus influenzae infections.
