Crystal structure of the nucleoside 2'-de-oxy-guanosine dimethyl sulfoxide disolvate

Abstract

The title com-pound, C₁₀H₁₃N₅O₄·2C₂H₆OS, which is of inter-est with respect to its biological activity, at 183 K has ortho-rhom-bic (P2₁2₁2₁) crystal symmetry. The structure displays a network of inter-molecular N-H⋯N, N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. 2'-De-oxy-guanosine mol-ecules are linked to each other and to the two dimethyl sulfoxide solvent mol-ecules by hydrogen bonding.
