1 James F. De Janón is a management consultant, licensed paramedic, and decorated former US Navy Corpsman. He is a managing director at Tribeca Management Consulting, a veteran-owned advisory firm based in New York, N.Y. He designed, implemented, and led the pandemic crisis staffing program that's the subject of this paper. Laurie A. Walsh is CNO and vice president of Clinical Nursing Services at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, N.Y. She served as the program executive sponsor and co-head of the Executive Steering Committee.
