This position paper is a joint statement of the German Radiological Society (DRG) and the Professional Association of German Radiologists (BDR), which reflects the current state of knowledge about coronary computed tomography (CT). It is based on preclinical and clinical studies that have investigated the clinical relevance as well as the technical requirements and fundamentals of cardiac computed tomography.

Dieses Positionspapier ist eine gemeinsame Stellungnahme der Deutschen Röntgengesellschaft (DRG) und des Berufsverbandes der Deutschen Radiologen (BDR), die den aktuellen Wissenstand über die Computertomographie (CT) des Herzens wiedergibt. Es beruht auf präklinischen und klinischen Studien, welche die klinische Relevanz sowie die technischen Voraussetzungen und Grundlagen der Computertomographie des Herzens untersucht haben.
