By investigating the existing ancient works, the authors discussed the specific meaning of jinqi (meridian sinew qi ), the relationship between jingjin (meridian sinew) and jingmai (meridian), the method of "guiding meridian sinew qi along with meridian running course" and its preferable acupoint selection for treatment of meridian sinew disorders with both the primary and the secondary considered.
