Thyroid lymphoma is classified as either primary thyroid lymphoma or secondary thyroid lymphoma. Primary thyroid lymphoma initially impacts the thyroid gland, with subsequent spread to the lymph nodes and other organs occurring later. In contrast, secondary thyroid lymphoma involves lymph nodes and other organs first, followed by subsequent spread to the thyroid. This activity exclusively concentrates on primary thyroid lymphomas.
