Description of a new species of Hyalinocerus (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) from southwestern China, with an update on the generic diagnosis

Abstract

Hyalinocerus mianyangensis Zhang sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Southwestern China. The generic diagnosis of Hyalinocerus are discussed and updated. A checklist and a key to the known Hyalinocerus species are presented.
