Dr David Gurwitz has been a Director of The National Laboratory for the Genetics of Israeli Populations at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, since its establishment in 1995. His research and teaching interests are focused on pharmacogenomics and its implications for personalized medicine, mainly in the context of neurology and psychiatry.
