Methods Mol Biol. 2018:1718:189-202. doi: 10.1007/978-1-4939-7531-0_12.

Abstract

Proton MR spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) can provide a variety of "molecular images" from animal models of human disease, which are useful for different research purposes. This chapter describes a protocol for in vivo acquisition and analysis of MRSI data from the rodent brain.

Keywords: Acquisition-weighting; Chemical shift imaging (CSI); Field of view (FOV); Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopic Imaging (MRSI); Point resolved spectroscopy (PRESS); Spectral analysis; Volume of interest (VOI).
