Contents of arsenic were determined in plant products originating from the region of two copperworks, Głogów and Legnica. Analyses were carried out by means of atomic absorption spectrometry, using an MHS-10 unit for hydride generation (acetylene/argon), after wet mineralisation of samples. The maximum permissible level of arsenic was not exceeded in any of the examined samples of cereals, potatoes, carrots, beetroots, cabbages, tomatoes, apples and pears, originating from the regions under scrutiny.
