Abstract

Results of 883 autopsies are reported. It was found that the incidence of tumours of the respiratory organs showed an increase as well as of the association of cancer and tuberculosis. They were the main causes of death in antitubercular clinics. It is concluded that errors in the diagnosis of the tumour process are sequels of subjective causes as well as insufficient cancer alertness of phthisiatrists.
