Study of the role of biliopancreatoduodenal pathological changes in the development of postcholecystectomy syndrome.
Material and methods: Diagnostic complex, including endosonography has been performed in 138 patients with calculous cholecystitis with a significant risk of choledocholithiasis and 112 patients with postcholecystectomy syndrome.
Results: The same spectrum of pathological changes of biliopancreatoduodenal zone in both groups was discovered.
Conclusions: The pathological changes of biliopancreatoduodenal zone in patients with postcholecystectomy syndrome most likely to appear before the operation.
