Interview with Nejat Düzgüneş: liposomal carriers for gene delivery

Abstract

Nejat Düzgüneş is professor of Microbiology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry (CA, USA). He has published over 200 scientific articles and has held numerous academic positions throughout his career. Professor Düzgüneş spoke to Therapeutic Delivery about his work in the field of liposomes for gene delivery, as well as discussing gene therapy methods targeting HIV and current challenges in the clinical translation of new discoveries and developments.
