Abstract

The thought of old age is sometimes unsettling. What and who does it refer to? Is it irreversible? Is it possible to live well while being old? What is the interest, for society, of having a large number of elderly people? The law, as a normative element of the social group and a protector of every being composing this group, offers valuable insight into these questions. A review of three essential points.
