Sensitive and rapid detection of Trueperella pyogenes using loop-mediated isothermal amplification method

J Microbiol Methods. 2013 May;93(2):124-6. doi: 10.1016/j.mimet.2013.03.002. Epub 2013 Mar 18.

Abstract

Here we report the design and evaluation of a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay for detecting Trueperella pyogenes DNA based on the plo gene sequence that encodes pyolysin. The results showed that target DNA was amplified specifically and with a detection limit 100-fold greater than PCR.
