Abstract

This paper evaluates the Maryland Commission on Environmental Justice and Sustainable Communities through stakeholder interviews and review of written reports. The Commission is empowered by diverse perspectives, but can feel limited by its charge. Commissioners have worked towards achieving EJ in Maryland, but have yet to fulfill a sustained vision.
