Chem Commun (Camb). 2012 Aug 14;48(63):7877-9. doi: 10.1039/c2cc33635a. Epub 2012 Jul 3.

Abstract

We report a new strategy for electrochemical detection of hepatitis C virus (HCV) based on the electrocatalytic signal amplification of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) combining with a conformation-switched hairpin DNA probe for improving selectivity.
