Ophthalmic Plast Reconstr Surg. 2012 Mar-Apr;28(2):e35-6. doi: 10.1097/IOP.0b013e318217dfd5.

Abstract

Cutaneous adenoid cystic carcinoma is an extremely rare clinical entity. Among the few cases reported in the literature, most had contiguous involvement from the lacrimal gland. Primary adenoid cystic carcinoma is one of the rarest eyelid tumors. The authors report a case of adenoid cystic carcinoma arising from the lower eyelid.
