The dihedral angle between the planes of the triazole and benzene rings is 81.7 (1)°. The 4-meth-oxy-phenyl group is cis with respect to the ethanone fragment O atom across the exocyclic C-C bond. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯N inter-actions into C(9) chains along [001].
